How did I end up in Denmark? Decided to move in with my dad spontaneously in 2012. Attending gymnasium in Denmark was like taking a crash course in Danish culture. I learned how to eat sild with rugbrød and schnapps during julefrokosts. I was introduced to Jante Law, and realized I’ll probably never be able to say rødgrød med fløde, or probably even brød. But I did grow a huge appreciation for this country and incidentally find myself still here 8 years on. There’s something about you guys that makes me wanna stay. Could be the schnapps… Nope, definitely not the schnapps.
